Hello - Well, Spring is definitely arriving here in our part of Illinois. The temps are back in the 60's and 70's and the pollen is in the air. I've ordered flower seeds for this years garden and birds are making their nests again in the garden trees. Yep, that means Spring!
With Spring also comes some changes in the home decor items and in the quilts. Today I spent some time making a few new items to bring some Spring Cheer to our home.
So. I made some carrots! Fabric carrots! I've gone a little carrot crazy actually. Did you know that carrots come in a rainbow of colors? Of course I looked this up and you know if there is more than one color option for something, I am going to make them all. Fabric carrots are not a new idea really, but I've never made them before and I found a quick pattern that can be used with your sewing machine or your embroidery machine.
I did a Sew In Common Live today on Facebook and You Tube and we talked about these sweet little carrots. Check out that video at either place for the details. I am listing the link to the pattern, which is from Kimberbell here for all of you. Be they orange or rainbow, go a little nuts and make a whole big bunch!!!
Until next time....
